Dear Suvadians: My days in Tamilnadu including the last day was hectic and full of ativities. I had at least three appointments per day. Thus by travelling around Chennai in an Auto I must have inhaled one of the worst type of traffic pollution in the world. India is aware of everything from the sublime to the gross. Every place in India is holyfied (!) with photos of Swamis and saying from Bible, Quran, Gita and the myriads of Swamis (old and new). Similarly, you get noble quotes at the backside of the killing machines called lorries and buses. While inhaling the unfiltered smoke from the bus, the holy saying reads "Dioxin is a poison. Don't burn plastics. Dioxin causes birth defects and cancer". Having spent nearly two decades on pollution research I know that even car exhausts contain dioxins and dibenzofurans that cause cancer and birth defects. India announces several ways to escape from confusion, AIDs, traffic jam, stress etc. but you know very well that you can't excape :-) It was one of those situations knowing very well that you inhale poison and the bus that throws that poison advices you that don't inhale. Where is the escape!! Landing in KL, Malaysia was such a relief! I could travel in uncrowded buses, walk on the platform (yes! it may sound trivial but I could never use the platform in Tamilnadu) and travel in a clean LRT (have you ever travelled in the newly formed route between Beach to Triplicane. It was filth all around (inside the train) nobody cares). The day I left India Mr.Asko Parpola from Finland arrived and had a meeting with Mr.Iravadam Mahadevan and Dr.Kodumudi Shanmugam. I could not join them but I was sure that they might have discussed about the clay tablet writings and its connection to Indus Valley writing. In fact I sent some scans to Dr.Loganathan for his study but my mail bounced several times. May be his server has an upper limit of email size! When I showed my scans to Drs. Abdul Kalam and M.Ananda Krishnan they responded, as I did earlier, that Carbon dating is vital. I'm sure THF will initiate this task soon. Mr.Nagore Roomi who holds a copy of 'kaathalaa? kadamaiyaa?' by Siddi Junetha Begum called me few hours before my departure to hand a xerox copy of the book. Alas! I had no time. Anto Peter who was ever helpful in my travel agreed to digitize that book on behalf of me. He might e-text several of my recent collections. I'm very thankful to Mr.Sadaiyan Shaboo, Mr.Jaffer Mohidin, Mr.Chellamani and Roomi for their interest in our activities and their warmth and hospitality. I obtained not only several works of Siddi Junetha Begam but her personal diary as well. That was one of the highlights of the trip. Traveling in Tamilnadu at the present time carries higher risks than in the times of U.Ve.sa. His problem of not getting a manuscript seems less risky comparing to travelling in Tamilnadu roads. I was about to be killed three times on the Indian roads. Dr.Uthay Kumar of Anna University showed his facilities. Very impressive. I requested him to develop a technology that will nullify the gravity. This could enable individuals to hop around without using the roads, because roads in India are real 'killing fields'. Technology is facinating. I write this mail from an elementary school in Malaysia while our Webmaster Suba delivers a lecture on Digital Village to school teachers. Technology seems to a great hope to humanity. anbudan Kannan

I forwarded that narrration + the hospitality at Sidhi Junaitha Begum's residence, to an Islamic Monthly Magazine published from Chennai. I hope it will be published Shaboo Dubai
